A tree for every “I do”
The Lovers’ Wood.
Every couple who marries at the casale is given a mandarin tree. It is no ordinary gift: it is a piece of your wedding that stays on, living in the estate.
We plant it together — on 18 October, or in any case on a Sunday in October each year — during a day dedicated to the casale’s newlyweds. On every tree, a label with your names: year after year the wood grows, one wedding at a time.

The harvest, and the mandarinetto.
When the mandarins ripen, we harvest them together. From the fruit of the Lovers’ Wood comes our mandarinetto, the house liqueur: we give it to everyone who joins us for lunch on planting day.
